The next 5 games

We play @ Houston, Rutgers, Temple, @ USF, and UCF. I think if we keep playing well, we could definitely win 4 out of those 5, possibly even 5 out of 5. If we win 3, that would be okay, but we must finish above .500 over this next 5 game stretch.

3 of 5 would be very disappointing, especially since 3 are at home. We will be favored in all 5, so I expect to win 4 at least.

SMU just beat UCONN sending the Huskies to 0-2 in conference.

I think it is fair to assume Cincinnati will be favored to comfortably win the home games against Rutgers, Temple and UCF. Every road game in the league is tough -- see UConn about to go to 0-2 in league play-- so I would hope UC would at worst split the two.

For USF it depends if they get Anthony Collins healthy, with him they are a borderline NIT type team and without him, they are pretty bad.

Houston had a nice home win over UConn, which could benefit UC because that will get their attention.

With the way UC is playing, 18-2 is distinct possibility heading into a game at the Yum! against Louisville...

On a side note, UConn reminds me a lot of last years UC team. Started out like gangbusters ranked in the top 10 and then slowly started to fade in conference play because they really can only rely on Napier and Boatwright (like SK and Cashmere)...

One game at a time. We had a very nice game today, but history can tell us not to get overconfident.

I think this team does a good job focusing on whats just in front of them. One thing a thumping by your crosstown rivals will do is keep you humble.
