I love this. So often the awards go to players who score the most points. Gary is the epitome of an all-around player. He does everything so well and this is definitely deserved. Congrats to the Problem!

Could not be more happy for Clark right now. The recognition is amazing and I can't think of a better guy who deserves it.

Incredible news.

Wow. What a career for Gary Clark. So happy that he is getting this amount of respect. He deserves it.

I remember in the preseason videos, Clark was talking about how we work harder than other teams. And Washington was talking about how last year was good and all, but our guys wanted more. That wasn't just talk.

Still more work to do. But good to take a second here this week to really celebrate a fine regular season.

Our players deserve every award they get, and then some. Sets a good tone for our guys in the future. I can see Broome being fueled by this to make sure his name is up there next year on 1st or 2nd team. Cumberland too. There's something to live up to.

Gary Clark is such a rock.

Gary had a slow start to thst game in WSU. But finished by scoring our last 4 points and with a game saving blocker shot.

That last 4 minutes is why Gary Clark is so special.

He never let the game frustrate him or break his focus and came up big again.

Agree. Gary picks his spots really well. He knows when to pass and when to try to score and, like most of this team, knows how to step it up a notch on D when we need it.

Gary has never complained. He has battled through injury. He has had his teeth knocked out. He's just all business on the court and doesn't complain about fouls etc. We need some guys like Kyle to get our emotions up...but we need guys like Gary who have an even keel about them. Don't get too high and don't get too low.

I am hoping Cane can help Kyle infuse some energy but we have guys like Gary, Jacob, and Jarron who just get the job done and don't celebrate until it's over.

I am not going to say I haven't seen some lineups on the court that have made me wonder. But I do like the fact Mick has some confidence in his bench to put them in there and save our legs for late game. Our bench can play some shut down D so it's not always a bad trade off. We won't be able to go through long spurts where we can't score but short spurts of great D can help us.

I like the idea in late games we can switch from offense to defense when the game stops. Those moments will be very important in the long run.
