I have not seen him play, but I trust the staff's opinion if they think he's good enough to bring in for a visit. I don't see this as a stunt to try and entice his brother either as we aren't even in the picture for him. His top schools are Arizona, Syracuse, Louisville, and Georgia Tech.

he would be eligable for 2013 since rice is in division 1 C-USA. two scholarships will still be available.

Even though he would be sitting out 2012-13, he still would be on scholarship, meaning UC would have 0 available (Rubles and Ennis). If Obekpa was too commit before Ennis decides, then I guess he isn't coming or there is some sort of back up plan.

This is correct. The only way for this to work out would be to have someone pay their own was as a walk on, assuming Rubles, Obepka, and Ennis all came here.

Why wouldn't they bring him in just for his brother? I think they would, especially if they think his brother is that good. Remember Kristian Smith?

I just can't see us giving up a scholarship for a scrub, to get his brother. I think this kid has legitimate talent and can definitely contribute in the coming years.
