Which Freshman will play the most minutes this season?
In light of the new Youtube video highlighting the newcomers, I thought it would be good to start the discussion of... Which Freshman, do you think, will play the most minutes this season, and why?
Keith Williams G Trevor Moore G Mamoudou Diarra F Eliel Nsoseme F/C |

It will be Keith Williams. Best player in the class and most ready to contribute.

Moore could be a sleeper if he can do all the little things right and make a good % of 3's. I know Williams and Moore have two very different games but I do like how solid Moore is when he sets up for a 3. He gets set and his form is really good and his shot is pretty quick from the looks of it. I do not like Williams shot a whole lot from outside but he is more of a slasher anyway. The more I think about it the more I think Williams and Moore could split time depending on situations and who comes out ready for D1 level BB. |

Keith Williams will get the most minutes because he can come in for JC or JE and I don't think there will be any drop-off. M. Diarra could suprize- He is the only one I did not see in high school competition.

How many minutes and ppg do you see for Keith? Certainly you don't see 19+ minutes and 8+ ppg right?

If Evans and Cumberland each play 35 minutes, that would leave 10 minutes for Keith. I think that would be the fewest he would see on average. Realistically probably 10 to 12 minutes a game and 4-6 points is where I see Keith ending up this year.

I can't see Williams getting less than 15 or so minutes as an average. We will have a lot of games where our starters don't need to play anywhere near 35 minutes.

I think between 15-20 min. a game is about right. More blowouts- foul trouble on starters-injuries(we had none last year)- sickness( Cane gets ahold of some cheese) and even possible discipline (we have 4 new players, hope that all get the team concept right away). I think KW will average double figures for sure.
