Memphis has won all 3 of their AAC games at home (Tulsa 76-67, Tulane 96-89, UConn 73-49).

Martin has averaged 26.7 ppg over those 3 wins.

That is pretty impressive. Considering they're 1-3 on the road including a double digit loss to Tulsa.

Definitely a game to get a W and not worry about how.

Nothing is really going to be easy from this point on (all things considered). Except last night....lol! When you play at home and the other team can't make an open shot to save their life...that's pretty easy.

To be fair. I think Wally Z pointed this out. Missing open shots is also a credit to an outstanding D. You are already uncomfortable. You start to wonder how quick you need to get the shot off etc. Tacko alone did this to us against UCF a few times. We hurried shots we didn't need to. We changed our arc etc.

There was a possession where the clock hit 10 and T Moore was just hounding his man. Rose maybe? And he lost it for a second and Moore dove. It threw off Temple and they had to scramble. They ended up getting Enechionyia the ball for a wide open 3 but he felt hurried and missed it. That's what can happen against us for sure. The other team is so uncomfortable that even open shots feel weird to shoot. Bc they're out there seeing ghosts. Perpetually tentative. It's like teams get so stressed they can't run anything smoothly.

Yes. I think a new slogan for our home games should be "Prepare to feel very uncomfortable". That might be a little passive...I am open to better ideas...lol!

My favorite was the "intimidate, Dominate, Celebrate" campaign but we need something new.

We have the nations longest winning streak for god sakes! Come on marketing!

How about just a mean face of Cronin hanging all over the arena?
