Great chance to watch A.J. play against Joell James from Dwyer, Fl. today. Should be a nice match up. ESPN Rise National High School Invitational. I believe the game will be on ESPNU.

A.J. Hammons (2012 , Spiece)- Hammonds has typically been that big guy that left you wanting more out of him. It looks like this is becoming less the case with him. He does need to play tougher on a consistent basis, but Hammonds now looks more comfortable asserting himself on the court and is becoming more productive. With his size and mobility, he has a high ceiling.

If we don't land one of our main big man targets for 2012 I'll be really upset... so many good players Mick and Co. is in on: Hammonds; Macon and McGary are the main three that come to mind.

I think Macon is a WVU lean. I Also think he likes the recruiting "game". He is much more of a face up 4 at this point and has problems posting against players with size. Personally, if I had to choose between the 2 I'd pick McGary.

Very important to follow up last season with another NCAA trip and strong BEast showing for the future of recruiting. Sustained success is the key to recruiting growth and drawing top talent.
