I hate how were going to have to have these rumors every single season. Mick will not leave UC unless he is forced to because...
-his family is in Cincinnati -he doesn't want another rebuilding job -UC is his dream job. This isn't butch Jones or Brian Kelly where its difficult to believe what they say because we have that constant fear they will leave. This guy never wants to leave and as long as he is successful, he will be the head coach at the University of Cincinnati. Let other schools talk all they want, but they'll soon realize they need to look elsewhere. He's staying. |

If Cronin is offered a better deal he will take it. His pockets run deeper than his loyalty here, hence his move to Louisville. I think he did a good job rebuilding somewhat, but I am not sold on his loyalty to anything. He has invested nothing in the community. I hope he stays but will not be surprised if he doesnt. Talked with a well connected booster a few seconds ago and he stated that it would take a major increase in salary to pull Cronin from Clifton, but he would take the offer if it was "worth his while".
