Is Taryn Todd class of 2020 or 2019? I have seen both.

This may sound silly but it could be good news either way. If we offer then the staff thinks he can play at our level, for our coach, in our system. If they don't offer then it means there is probably a red flag somewhere...and it may have little to do with skills and ability. |

I would hope there are many many games on tape that can be reviewed. I went to a very very small HS and every one of our FB games were on tape back in the late 80s. If there were a prospect on our team (not me) I would think any coach could access all of that video. I would think with higher caliber teams there should be a vault of game tape to be able to go back and watch an entire season on tape. Live play (if that is all) would seem a bit lazy when you only have 13 spots to fill you want to see all the action you can on a target...whether it's recorded or live. I know there are other things you can see in a live play aspect and going to the games shows your interest. You can offer on the spot if you want. Just curious about pre recorded game tapes and how much they play into recruiting? |

If we are going after Bolton. I wonder how much the waiver consideration plays in? I hope we don't have to wait to see if he clears waivers for 2019. I think he would be a good get either way 2019 or 2020. I don't know how long the waiver process takes either?

Not sure how long the decision takes but I believe its much easier to be granted a waiver than one might think. The language switched from “egregious behavior” from the previous university, to “mitigating circumstances outside the athletes control”, and even takes into account the “athletes well being”. Leaves a lot of wiggle room for potential arguments for immediate eligibility.
