JUCO All-American to UC

Anyone else hear this?
Sam Kwiatkowski - @skwiatkowski247
"Now that it's getting out there, BCL confirmed a week ago that JUCO All-American RB Hosey Williams is heading to Cincinnati"

Looks like a great pick up!

Just saw that. First thing that comes up when you google his name-his mugshot. Oh well, if he has gotten his act together and can contribute, then it is a solid pickup.

That's it? Nevermind, I just assumed when I saw JUCO and crime it would be worse. Loitering is a dumb crime anyways, as long as it isn't drugs, stealing, etc.

I love the fact that TTubs is going the JUCO route to immediately improve the talent level on our roster. Bill Snyder at KState does this with a lot of success and look where it's gotten his teams. During the KState vs Oregon bowl games the announcers stated that 9 of the 11 starters on KState's defense came from JUCO's.

You don't want to go heavy on the JUCO's forever but in the first couple years TTubs can significantly improve our roster by going this route until his recruits are ready to take the field.

The staff got two more commitments today with Tyler Cogswell TE/QB from Fort Lauderdale, FL and Howard Wilder, JUCO CB from Woodland Hills, CA.

Both had some pretty big offers. Arkansas was going after Cogswell and Wilder was a USF commit before he flipped for UC. I know we like to say we are a clean program and we tend to stay above the seedier parts of recruiting and college athletics but I must admit, it's nice for once to be on the positive side of a recruit flipping his commitment, especially when it was from another Big East school and not Idaho or Ohio U.

Unfortunately Wilder did not commit..yet. He is talking out of both sides of his mouth telling BCL one thing and USF folks another. @GregAuman talked with him after the confusion and he is not committed anywhere although he stated we are leading. I traded tweets with Auman and apparently he has no visits left.
