Currently, Jarron (80.2%), Justin (79.4%) and Cane (78.7%) are putting up strong numbers, but the biggest thing has been FT shooting of our big guys, Tre (72.2%) and Nysier (66.2%) having solid years from the line. I believe in the South Florida game we were 29 of 32 from the line! Cant ever remember a UC team doing that.
FT's have been a pretty nice surprise this year. Cumberland is 31 of 38 in his last 3 games. That's a lot of damn FT's. He went from 64% his FR year to 68% last year to 80% this year. That's also impressive. He's almost 10 points higher in 3% as well.

Jenifer's steady improvement year over year has been a welcome site as well. Although he only has 3 assists to 5 turnovers in his last 4 games with two goose egg performances on assists. The ISO play is really killing that part of his game.

They're #115 in NET though. Winning matters for that.

I went through the Bartorvik site to see what our expected seed would be if we lost anywhere from 0-5 more times.

Our seed line on that site would mirror our losses in the scenarios I chose.

8 losses = 8 seed (hopefully worst case)
7 losses = 7 seed
3 losses = 3 seed (best case)

And so on. And I think that is probably pretty close to accurate. So I am hoping for 4 or less losses the rest of the way to avoid that 8-9 seed. I did not put in any "extra games" for the conference tourney which could affect the seeding slightly give or take a seed line for poor or great performance. Maybe we could get a 2 seed if we won the tourney or maybe we could get a 9 seed if we lost the first game etc.

Didn’t see it anywhere else, but ESPN realeased a Top 25 college basketball players today and Cumberland was 14th, not too shabby.

His impact on this team is hard to understate. He's been money down the stretch in most close games. Impressive season thus far and he seems to be getting better.

Yeah he may be more clutch/have the ability to take over more than any other player under Cronin

NC State put up only 24 points on Saturday at home against VTech, the lowest ever for a ranked team in the shot clock era. They were averaging 84 points per game, and hadn't scored less than 65 all season. They went 9-54 (17%) from the field and 2-28 (7%) from three.
