Some of you guys need to get a grip. Everyone whining about the University not supporting Mick is full of it, if you're trying to make that argument you have no clue what you're talking about.
The University has raised Mick's salary numerous times throughout the years, they stood by him in every way imaginable when he went through his health issues, he has the full support of his president and AD and they're doing everything they can to build him a new arena. There have been some money issues over the years but the truth is that Mick's program isn't making the University that much money. Mick has been treated great by this school and if he does leave I'm sure he'd be the first to tell you that. Mick is the one who took the audience with UNLV, Mick is the one who's considering leaving despite the fact that he's been told by his administration that he has their full support, and if Mick leaves it will be because he wanted to. If he feels for whatever reason this is a new and better opportunity for him then so be it, but that's not going to be on the University of Cincinnati. |

I am a huge UC fan like everyone on here, at the end of the day I feel for the kids on the team and the incoming recruits. I understand that this is a business for Mick and the University, but it is not for them. They are playing for the love of the game, their school, and their coaches. I hope whatever the outcome, that they all end up in the best situation going forward for their future.

That's a **** poor attempt at...an insult?? Not even sure where you were trying to go there but try again. If you're so concerned about finding a long term coach then let's see what he can bring in on his own. I don't care if he can come in and have a good couple years with the roster someone else built. I wanna see what he gonna do himself. That shouldn't be too hard to understand.

Seriously though, if I see one more person on twitter send a tweet to Mike Bohn and Pres Ono telling them to keep Mick I'm going to lose it. What are these people even talking about?!?!? The amount of misinformation people operate with on a day to day basis is staggering. |

After having a evening to sleep on all this. I've come to the conclusion this is not a issue at all. Taking the time to digest some of the wonderful pearls of wisdom on the board it is apparent Mick leaving will be a small blip on the radar screen. After all we have a wonderful supporting fans base, a crack administration that has us poised for bigger and better league affiliation, a legion of construction workers eager to start the Basketball renovations, A long line of donors eagerly waiting with Check book in hand to write that check and a long line of applicants ready to assume command of all who wish to stay and play for our cats. life is Good!!!!!

I'm a mick supporter but I get the feeling mick is gone.
And the program will go to the dark ages again unless they can get Larry Davis to stay on as head coach with interim tag and then hire Kenyon as an assistant. Is that enough to keep these players here? Maybe |
