This is going to be a big class for us, we have brooks/Scott/fredericks/Cumberland all leaving that’s 4 schollys to work with, definitely need a center in this class, idk how diarra will improve and eliel will be a senior when the 2020 kids are freshman so that I would think will be the biggest concern, then maybe a sf because Trevor Moore and kw will be a senior. And definitely a combo guard of some sort.
2020 season depth chart: Pg: Logan Johnson Sg: Samari Curtis Sg/sf: Keith Williams/ Trevor Moore Pf: prince gillam/ laquill Hardnett (not sure who’s better C: eliel Nsoseme/ mamadou diarra There’s a lot of playing time for incoming freshman there |

Rivals has us projected to get 3 star point guard RJ Davis (4 star on 247).

Class of 2020, 4-star, R.J. Davis is a highly regarded, point guard who plays for Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains, New York. He is a classic point guard with great court vision whose scoring warrants listing him as a combo. The 5-11, 150 pounder is a great scorer who is very smart on the court. Davis knows how to pick his spots quickly and efficiently on offense and has a nice long range game. He is 3rd rated prospect in New York, 10th rated combo guard and 107th rated player in the class of 2020 by 247Sports. Villanova visited him back in April I talked to him about what he thinks of the Wildcats, who else is recruiting him so far and how intends to evolve his game. Some have him a four star.

If RJ decides to stay close to home, hope Mick really thinks about Bolden as grad transfer, he wants to be in area and would fit system.

The 2020 class is vital to the program keeping pace with the improvement of our league. We are going to have a ton of holes to fill with this class. This class will be put up or shut up for Cronin. I hope he hits the damn trail hard for this cycle.

A lot can happen between then and now, but I am liking what I see out of RJ Davis and really like CJ Wilcher. Will we get them? No idea. However, pairing those two with a couple others would be a great step for future stability of the program. Wilcher can flat stroke the ball.
