A Good Dream - ACC

How great would this dream be:

Atlantic Division Coastal Division
Boston College Virginia Tech
Clemson Georgia Tech
Florida State Miami
Louisville Virginia
North Carolina State North Carolina
Syracuse Pittsburgh
Wake Forest Duke
UConn Cincinnati

Great Ball league. Exciting FBall league. Natural rivalries, close geographic proximity, great academic affiliations....

How about instead of dreaming, the aac teams actually get better at football. Awaken the so called sleeping giants in florida... Commit actual dollars to coaching staffs and recruiting and turn the league into something decent.

Probably a dream.
But in the next 6-8 years the tv contracts will create havoc...
in the mean time, the SEC, BIG10 and PCC will move to 16 teams ahead of the turmoil.
That is probably not a dream.
Opportunities will open.
My dream is out there as a measuring stick to evaluate all of this opportunities.
I would rather see UC continue to improve and attempt to make that dream happen.
Maybe it won't. Maybe it will.
But it is something to work toward. An improved AAC is something to work for but not
aspire to.....

If you are dreaming, here is what I would dream up.

Great Midwest

Ohio State
UC
IU
Purdue
Notre Dame
Michigan
Michigan St.
Pitt
WV
Penn St.
Louisville
UK

That would be the most amazing conference ever.

I wouldn't mind seeing the AAC look into a merger with Mountain West like they did a few years ago.

West
BYU
Boise
Air Force
UNLV
San Diego St.
Colorado St
Utah St

East
UC
UCONN
Temple
UCF
USF
Houston
Memphis
