Wichita State to be invited to the AAC?
So im sure some have heard that Wichita State and a couple others are being considered being invited to aac as bball only members to boast our conference. I personally love the idea and hope they also add mid tenn, dayton, and VCU to the conversation and im sure there are others im forgetting. If the aac can be a big time bball conference thats helps it as a whole big time. Heres an excerpt and link from the article I read. So what do you guys think?
((According to a report from FanRag by its lead college basketball columnist and CBS college basketball reporter Jon Rothstein, multiple sources though none are named say the Shockers were discussed as a potential new conference member at the AAC’s latest league meetings as a basketball only member. )) http://www.bizjournals.com/wichita/n...y-aac-for.html

Yeah, it would be awesome...Just after this Big 12 stuff, on how long and disappointing it was, I'm not looking forward to all the chatter. It really has left a bad taste in my mouth. Really hope it happens, just hope happens quick, if not they need to just drop the idea and not get our hopes up.

Would love to add Wichita St. and VCU. Not so sure on Midd Tenn St. and Dayton. I like UD, and don't want to pull an OSU here, but how would adding UD help UC at all?
I'd love to go out west and get Gonzaga and UNLV, among others, but I'm not sure that's realistic. |

I would go all in and try to get to 16 bball schools.
Add San Diego St./BYU as a football and basketball school. Add Gonzaga, Wichita St. and VCU as hoops only. I would love that conference at that point. |
