The Golden Eagles have a NET ranking of #275 and have only beaten one D1 opponent so far, but they are currently the 9th highest ranked of our 13 OOC opponents.

For a low major program, they boast a fair amount of size, with 5 of their 9 rotation players measuring between 6'7 and 6'10. The most notable of that bunch is grad transfer and ex-Bearcat, Mamoudou Diarra, who is averaging 9 & 5 over 22 minutes of action/game.

The Bearcats are 16-point favorites going into the last match-up of their OOC schedule.

Will be good to see the Dou again! Just hope he doesn't go off on us.

Other than that win the game. Look sharp heading into conference play. 100% effort. Hopefully we can keep getting some end of bench guys some minutes.

I hope Dou gets a great reception.

I would take the under on 16. They are a very good offensive rebounding team (led by Dou), which is good reason to worry. They don't do a lot else well, but if they beat us on the boards they should be able to keep it close. They also play 9 deep, so fatigue shouldn't be a major issue for them.

It should be a good game to pack it in and make them shoot threes. They only have 4 guys who shoot over 25% from three (one of whom is Dou) and only of of them averages over 22 minutes per game, so as long as we don't let any of those four go off on us, we should be in good shape.

Probably a good bet but I don't think practices have been a whole lot of fun lately with Wes calling out a lack of intensity for 40 minutes. I don't expect to see a whole lot more of that before Wes starts using the pine to get the point across. So if we play with the intensity we started the season with we might just cover.

Not gonna complain about missed shots anymore...just need that exciting energy we saw early on.

Just started watching, early second half. We have 10 offensive rebounds to their 2, maybe Miller finally got it through to them.

Offensive rebounds: Them 5, us 13.

TO's: Them 16, us 9.

You don't lose many games when you have 15 more possessions than the other team. We took 16 more shots than they did and won by 9. Would have been nice to get more stops (they shot 48% and 41% from three), but was nice to see us grabbing rebounds against a Tennessee Tech team that has been very good at offensive rebounding. Also nice to see Diarra have a great game, he looks like he is turning into a very good player.

Transition defense was the weak point of this game. They beat us down the floor several times. Overall we controlled most aspects of the game though. The 3pt shooting disparity made the score close (which is becoming the new normal). It's still disappointing that we attempt so many difficult threes early in the shot clock without making any attempt to feed the post. Once again I thought the Hensley-Lakhin-Koval trio of bigs did a great job moving the ball.

Good to see Dou have a solid game.

this team is maddening. So many poor fundamentals, poor effort, poor shot selection. Talent is lacking but at some point the finger has to go to the coach. How you give up a dunk after we score on a fast break is beyond me. And the bad 3 point shot after bad 3 point shot should get you yanked.

Transition D has been a problem all year. So has getting beaten on back door cuts and pick and roll defense. Again not sure how much of it is coaching vs these kids aren't capable of doing things correctly.

Just a few days after Davenport and DeJulius carry the team with 46 points, they go 0-9 from 3 and only combine for 13 points tonight.

Great to see so many other players pick up the slack in response.

Will need to do a much better job of putting away teams (at home) in conference play.

Could be the difference between competing for an NCAA bid and not playing meaningful postseason basketball.
