I’m confused. Are you just arguing to take jabs at me or do you truly think that John Brannen inherited a situation that was worse or the same as kelvin Sampson? You know the answer. So do I Houston had no fans, a crap ass arena, a losing culture But yes, John Brannen inherited the same thing. John brannen has all his guys to build a culture. To me this is the real year 1 of his era. I will be open minded about it. But this season matters. It’s not a throw away. |

Like to me the goal of this season is to get better.
If we dropping home games to shitty teams in February, I’m gonna be frustrated. I want to see the vision come to life. So I hope that happens by seasons end |

Brannen will be fine, and so will the basketball team.
When was our last Final 4, Sweet 16, or hell just the next weekend, consistently, and unfortunately even when Huggie was here? That classic Cincinnati Fan Culture, that has a grip on damn near all sports in Cincinnati. Never pushing to "Win it all" or complaining about how come we didn't win it all How are we spoiled as basketball fans? How I ask! Then I think about the Bengals, and I will say never mind my question lol. I do see promise, before failure, and yeah we lost to X, but there's about 20 more games to improve and win it all. With all the Sports Heartache we have to deal with in this city, just let the season play out sheesh. |

Yeah, I never understood some fans acting like cronin was some kind of great coach that couldn’t be replaced. I supported him for 11-12 years, we went to 1 sweet 16, won 2 leagues. Not saying he’s a bad coach but definitely replacable.
As for brannen, it’s going to take time. Some thing I like, some I question. We will see |

Brannen would of got chewed up and spat out in the old Big East... I would put my bottom, bottom.. bottom, bottom, bottom dollars on that. So far I'm seeing we don't do anything really particularly well.. which feels, pretty average too me I don't know about yal. I don't expect us just to get by I expect us to dominate.. but def not with this team. It's a work in progress

Brannen
Look at what X is doing to Oklahoma. They are flat out tearing them to pieces. This is Steeles third year. When a coach leaves, the first year is usually a wasted recruiting season. The 3rd year is when things come together unless you get lucky. Brannen will be fine but you have to give him time.

Huge difference is Xavier recruits much better. They have 6 4 stars, and multiple transfers who were the best players in their team and sometimes their league. Look at steeles 3rd recruiting class, it’s 24th in the country, So far, our 3rd recruiting has no one. I’ll just say it: I don’t think Mikey, the madsens, Davenport, MAW, are starters on a top 25 team. They are role players on a good team. Tari is the exception. Harvey I’m still not sure on |

Anyone else notice Eason was not allowed to take a 3 pt shot? He was wide open several times and waited to pass the ball. Suggesting he cannot shoot worth a damn. But he can do a lot of other stuff as long as he’s giving 100 percent which I am not sure he is. If he did he would be a beast!
