Newman also takes too many long twos. DDJ and Newman are the only guards who are good at creating their own jump shot, but they should only be doing that late in the shot clock. The first 20 seconds should be spent trying to get something at the rim or an open set shot.

I will totally agree here. I would also argue that almost ANYONE can create a bad jump shot regardless of ball skills. It's not what we want by any means. Get to the rack, shoot a set 3, or get the ball to the post. If all else fails shoot your off balance long 2 or 3.

Hopefully Vik can play tonight. Seems like a game changer.

Lakhin's making a big difference tonight. The frontcourt as a whole is playing very well.

Quite the athletic lineup in that last stretch with Saunders-MAW-Newman-Davenport-Ody.

We're just going to ignore that the clock stopped running for a minute? I guess this is a 41 minute game.

Wonder if Miller lit a fire under Ado at halftime. He had a strong showing in the 2nd half.

Law of averages worked against DeJulius's shot tonight but he still helped ignite our big run in the first half.

Davenport had some stretches where he looked like an all-league player again.
