If we can't beat a team that was in the bottom half of the Big 12, I guess we should be glad we didn't get in?

They turn the ball over a lot, our defense causes a lot of turnovers.
We rebound the ball well offensively, they give up a lot of offensive rebounds. Their best offense is going inside the arc and getting 2-pointers, we have the 4th best 2-pt defense. Going to be a lot of chances for us to get easy buckets from turnovers and second chance points. We do that, hit some 3s (K.St's 3pt defense is terrible) and we can win this game by 10+. But, March is weird. All the factors point to us getting a W, pretty easily too. Think we win but it's closer than it should be. 65-60. |

Looking at this teams record and the scores of their games indicate they have played some very good teams and lost some very close games. This will not be a cake walk.

If a team makes the tournament, they have good players. Even the low major teams can play and have a player that can take over. But at some point if you want to be an elite program, you gotta beat k-state. I don't think it will be easy either but gotta beat an 11 seed

They have a really weird resume. Looks like when they play well they can beat anyone, but they also have been blown out quite a few times.

Yea, I peg them as a on any given night team. We need to guard and knock down some shots. I am very interested in our performance as it compares to the league. We are being dissed because us and SMU play in the AAC. K ST. has beat and held its own with many teams in the Big 12. Beating them will say a lot about our ability to compete in that environment.

With the bengals, reds, and the Bearcats not winning anything in 25 years, you would think we are due for some winning and some luck. And with bengals and reds not looking good the next couple years, the bearcat are our best chance. So let's hope we can at least win a game or 2, of not more
