I would love to know of some food and bar places to hit up. My hotel in 1 mile away from the strip, the Hampton inn on Vanderbilts area. I love more dive/local joints than the big touristy places. (Unless those tourist joints are a must stop haha) Never been to Nashville which is somewhat mind blowing considering my friends and I drinking abilities.

Yes Nashville is awesome, had an absolute blast there after the Florida state win.

The whole strip outside Bridgestone is full of BBQ places, you can't go wrong

Last time I was there we went to The Pharmacy which is a burger place with a decent Beer garden, a little out from the city. Also went to Burger Republic if you're looking for something off the strip but within walking distance of a few breweries/short uber ride back to the strip.

Won't find many hole in the wall type spots near the arena, but as far as food goes. Martins BBQ on 4th ave is a personal favorite BBQ place. Pucketts grocery&Restaurant on 5th is really good. Breakfast, pancake pantry. Arnold's is great for meat and three. Nashville's big thing is hot chicken, your hotel shouldn't be far from Hattie B's hot chicken. Pretty solid. All the bars close to Bridgestone are going to be just about the same. Country bars, venture over to second ave and check out Doc Holidays if you like something a little smaller. George Jones on 2nd is another good one.

Hit up Tootsies and Acme Feed and Seed. 2 cool bars on Broadway. Be careful with other bars on Broadway, a lot of tourist traps out there.

I will be down for the weekend - mostly interested in good spots to spend the entire Saturday watching games on tv. Any suggestions there?

Someone explain why I shouldn't be worried about this game. For some reason I think Texas/Nevada would be easier. Man, I just want to get to the S16.
