IMO Oregon should probably be higher after their win against Zona. Only two losses, with one being a bad loss and the other is to UC but they have beaten Zona and UNLV.

As for the polls in general, I don't disagree with the "what have you done lately" sentiment. Teams get better and worse as the season goes on and that should be reflected.

If UC had won the 3 they lost, and all were winnable games, UC would be 17-0 and would be the new number 1 today. If if and buts were candy and nuts.....

Damn I called it lol, we are No. 26 in the AP. love it, and Marquette is ranked No.25. These polls are becoming very predictable. You can't tell me, Missouri deserves to be No.17 after their butt kicking and a 4 loss Illinois is still ranked and a VCU team who has lost to every good team and beat a bunch of nobodies. Bosheit

But here is the thing, rankings don't matter in college basketball thanks to the tournament. That is why it is vastly superior to college football. Every team has ample opportunities and then 68 teams get a final opportunity.

College basketball is far worse than college football, football has it right, every game matters. College basketball the regular season matters for nothing.

UC is not #26 in the AP Poll as there is no #26. It is a top 25 poll. UC is merely among those listed as others receiving votes.

But I thought it was considered a good season if UC beats X? Isn't that a regular season game?

Horrifically incorrect as usual.

College football still can't decide who the best team is year after year

Every game matters in college football so long as you start of ranked pretty high and are in the SEC, PAC12, Big12, or Big10.
