Progress made but not enough

More from the story above...
The run at the end of the season was a nice change of pace from the past few years, but it didn’t erase the disappointment of the season overall. Finishing strong and winning a game in the NIT were steps in the right direction, but Cronin declared before the season started that the program had been restored to full strength. |

I'm not sure what his version of full-strength is, but I do know what good basketball is, and UC is just not there yet, and hasn't been for quite awhile.
Cronin needs to follow the Kelly doctrine, and get RKG's....Right Kind of Guys RKG for me would be those that don't get into trouble, solid work ethic, court awareness, fundamentals, and can SHOOT. If this includes athleticism then great. I'd rather have 8 guys who can shoot and can't jump, than the reverse. |
