'12 Huntington Prep WV PF Stefan Janovic

Power forward
Huntington, West Virginia
Huntington Prep
Ht:6'9"
Wt:200 lbs
Class:2012 (High School)

Sticking with the class of 2012, the NPS was my first look at Jankovic. A thin 6-foot-8 (maybe 6-foot-9) combo forward, he combines the perimeter skill of a small forward with the size of a power forward. His jumper comes straight out of a textbook featuring a quick, compact release, lots of arc and rotation, and a high release point. His skill level makes it tough for four men to defend him because he can dribble by them and his size is too much for small forwards. It was just our first look at him so we are going to be conservative and start him as a high three-star prospect. But, in all likelihood, he's on his way to establishing himself as a four-star prospect and already has offers from Penn State, West Virginia, Northwestern and Seton Hall.
