'12 C PA. Sim Bhullar (offer)
Center
Saltzburg, Pennsylvania Kiski School Ht:7'4" Wt:285 lbs Class:2012 (High School) The 16’s that George speaks of include some BIG players on the AAU scene, but none may be bigger than 7-foot-4 Sim Bhullar. The mountain of a young man attends the Kiski School near Pittsburgh (PA). While many people point out what Bhullar can not do and the project that he still is, George knows there is plenty of skill and time to put it all together. “He’s 7′4 and is only 16 going on 17 so there’s a lot of time to figure it all out,” said George. “He has great hands, his IQ is very high and he makes the right play, he passes very well, he kicks it out when it’s not there and re-posts, he doesn’t force anything and he’s 7′4 so of course schools are going to be interested!” Three schools that George mentioned with Bhullar were Cincinnati, West Virginia and Georgetown as being the most involved to this point in his recruitment. No doubt more will come along as Bhullar progresses and George definitely believes he is coming along. http://www.nbebasketball.com/w3/2010...ball-by-storm/ Last edited by bearcat jeff; 08-14-2010 at 08:29 AM. |

Big Three Leave Kiski Prep
By: Pittsburgh Basketball Report 7'4" Sim Bhullar, 7'2" Tanveer Bhullar, and 6'10" Stefan Jankovic, have been unenrolled at The Kiski School, in Saltsburg, PA. Their reason for leaving is undisclosed. Talking to Sim last evening, his statement was that he and Stefan Jankovic will be attending Huntington Prep in West Virginia, while there is a chance Tanveer Bhullar will be attending Montrose Christian in Maryland. The unenrollment was a shock to the Kiski School community, as all three had been doing extremely well since their arrival at the Kiski School. The Bhullar brothers especially, really made their name during their time at the Kiski School. Before coming to the Kiski School, they were still considered "projects" by most of the Division 1 recruiting world. While he already stood at 7 feet, the older Bhullar was not even selected by the top AAU team in Canada before coming to the Kiski School. Their body and skill levels improved with each month here in the US. While there is definitely still much improvement needed, Sim currently holds offers from schools like Georgetown, West Virginia, and Pitt, and Tanveer as a sophomore already has an offer from Seton Hall. The press and promotion that the brothers have received is uncanny, and most of it came because they were together at the same school. From the first article that was written for SLAM last November, to the most recent article in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, there have been hundreds of online and hard copy news sources that have covered the brother's story. Now with Tanveer and Sim splitting up at different schools, the story diminishes. Stefan Jankovic also flourished during his time at the Kiski School. Going from a player that was not even on most recruiting radars, to now being a top 100 player in the country. He recently received offers from Wake Forest, Northwestern, Seton Hall, and sources say Penn State. His improved maturity and shooting, along with his long frame and athleticism should make Stefan a top 50 player in the country when it is all said and done. Most Division 1coaches that I have spoken to in the past 24 hours have showed major shock and concern with the move. The common thought is, what benefit would it be for the three to leave? The Big three were at a one of the best academic institutions in the country. Kiski Prep currently has a 10-1 record which included 2 big wins in the Prep Showcase in Connecticut last week, and has a national schedule including a game with South Kent this Friday. Sim was averaging about 25 pts and 12 rpg, and Stefan was averaging about 17 pts and 8 rpg. Tanveer was continuously improving, as he is still a young 15 year old in a 7'2" body. All three saw their recruiting picking up and flourishing. So what was the reason for leaving? Either way, Kiski Prep is left with a very different team, but still very talented team. Kiski's roster still includes, point guard Jonathan Ward-Adams who has signed with Navy, combo guard Brandon Bos who is receiving Atlantic 10 interest, and 6'8' Casey Carroll who holds offers from Rice, Duquesne, Robert Morris, Youngstown State, and St. Bonaventure. They have 6'7" junior Andrew Van Camp, and a loaded sophomore class that includes 6'2" point guard Major Canady who has an offer already from Duquesne. The sophomore class also includes 6'4" Corey Stanford and 6'2" Phil Nichols, both are also receiving Division 1 interest already. Other juniors and seniors include 5'11" point guard Jason Sebak, 5'11" guard Mike Fitzgerald, 5'11 Cody Patton, 6'3" Judd Thorton, and 6'5" Tyler Burkhart. The Kiski School will be still be playing its national schedule, and is prepared to compete the same way. |

Sources say he and his brother are likely headed to Huntington Prep in WV. It would be nice if JD could get in his ear. The downside is one of his schools of interest is West Virginia. We could be building a pipeline to Huntington Prep. Bhullar would make 4 recruits with UC interest there.
