Sim Bhullar & Stefan Jankovic '12, the newest members of the Huntington Prep (WV) Basketball team, have begun practicing with the team.

I doubt I'd want this Bullar kid. Takes him 10 minutes to get up and down the court. Decent footwork, not sure about his hands which is very important for someone his size.

Though I wanted Jaylen before UC is very guard heavy now and need to use their scholies on big men.

Unless they can get a elite PG in the 2012 class, I doubt they will take one. Getting big men is a much higher priority. I'd love to have another true PG but they are way too thin on the front line.

They need quality bigs too. Mick has been recruiting to a style he wants to play. Personally I think Guyn is going to surprise people. Davis is still more of a combo but will have a couple years to continue to grow. Ellis is way to thin at this point. Gaines and Jackson will be here as well. They will sign somebody this spring imo. I can agree with getting a top tier pg and going with bigs, but they will look at the pg position make no mistake.

Without a doubt they will look at PG's but my guess is they take only bigs unless a elite PG (not sure how good Jaylen will end up being) is for the taking. They wouldn't take Guyn and Davis unless they think Guyn has a future at PG so I think they feel bigs will be more important than PG. JMO though.

Not sold on this guy because he is slow footed but he is huge. Still don't want him going to Xavier:

7'5 Sim Bhullar '12 of Huntington Prep (WV) on his Xavier visit: "It was crazy. I felt like it could be a possible home for me."

Sim Bhullar, C, Huntington- The massive big man generates wildly varying opinions of him as a down-the-road prospect. Saturday, the junior was effective in putting up 13 points, 15 rebounds and blocking eight shots. He's neither speedy nor a skywalker, but he does have outstanding hands, relatively soft touch and some skill for which he hasn't received much credit. Really good day for the big man.
