'13 NC SF Jason Boswell

Looks to be another backup option if Sidy falls through. Here is an article on him:http://cincyontheprowl.com/2013/05/0...jason-boswell/

I guess if there was a position of need (in terms of bodies) besides the 5, it might be the 3. You are pretty much looking at Lawrence and Shaq Thomas playing the 3. Rubles could too but I have a feeling he will be needed to play the 4 (unless Lawrence is in the game playing the 4). If Shaq Thomas makes the leap that we all expect, minutes at the three won't be there for a freshman. With the log jam at the SG spot, I could see SK getting some minutes at the 3 too.

I would still be surprised with this if it happens but outside of the video posted here, I know nothing about this kid.

I wouldn't put too much stock in an article where the person states that they have until May 15th if they want to play basketball next year. Someone obviously doesn't know too much about college basketball if they think that.

I see him as more of a MAC guy.

Reminds me of JaQuon Parker. Tough guy, not a great shooter. Size wise, 6'6 isn't bad. Another thing to is he goes to Quality Education Academy-the name makes it sound like a school that might lose its accreditation.

Not JaQuon size wise, but style of play wise. Constantly attacks the rim.

I guess in a very small way of attacking but JaQuon was hit or miss on that this year I looked at JaQuon as being a rebounder and clean up man who could hit down a wide open shot sometimes got to the basket. I think this kid looks much more skilled offensively and def way more athletic. Looks like he was around 6'6" most of highschool but this year looks to have grown a few inches and pretty explosive off the floor.

He lacks a consistent shot, that is his biggest weakness. I like him and he definitely isn't a MAC recruit. Has offers from us, Rutgers, Iowa State, Villanova, etc. Really like his game, don't know how seriously we are considering him and vice-versa, but he is interesting nonetheless. Wish his shot was better, as that seems to always be a problem for our players, but I like his physical makeup and athleticism.
