Just like against Tulsa, we're a potentially lethal team when we have both Cumberlands, Keith, Tre and Vogt on the floor and all 5 are gelling.
I thought diarra played really well in the second half. First half he threw the ball to the other team 3 times in 30 seconds but 2nd half he was solid. If he can limit those dumb things he can be a solid player.

Yeah, I think as the season progress that's going to become the go to (and maybe starting) lineup. Diarra, MAW and McNeal being the three main guys off the bench.

Sorolla continues to be unimpressive. Harvey actually wasn't terrible this game, Davenport didn't play. As the rotation shrinks all three of their minutes will probably continue to drop.

Diarra looked like his early season self on offense in the first half and wasn't as good as usual on defense either. Played much better in the second half though.

Big one Thursday. If we can win that one, I think this team can start rolling. Big if though

Jarron at PG also allows the Williams, Jaevin, Jarron line up which is probably our best combination of guards.

The last two games we've looked a lot more like we did last year. Slower pace, play tough D, hit the boards hard. It's not want Brannen wants us to look like in the long run, but it wins us games.
There is no reason they should have to play much slower with Jarron running the point. In fact he is there best player when pushing the pace (with the exception of his constant charges). The issue early on was he wasn't in good shape and I think Brannen tried to conserve him. You have to be in better shape to run point and he seems in better shape now. They'll might just need to get him some more rest in games as a result.

Winning @Memphis will go a long way to improving our NCAA tournament bid chances. It will also make a lot more fans (including myself) start to believe we have a shot at at an at-large bid.

Winning Thursday will also get the team to start believing. We are going to need a 6-7 game win streak at some point to even start the conversation of an at large bid.

Was at the game. UCF was scrapping all game but the 2nd half of the 2nd half was fun to watch. UCF fans are pretty easy to deal with. I was opposite student end behind the basket so I missed a lot of things that happened at the rim and center of paint. I could have sworn we were getting the wrong end of a lot of calls but they didn’t replay most on Jumbotron.

Jarron is quite the enigma this year...

I know we won and I don’t want to complain about the officiating but I agree with you. Their big was getting calls for almost any contact but on our end Scott, Keith, and Vogt were getting at least the same contact if not more and couldn’t buy a call. Williams gets less calls than jarring I think
