Plans on visiting Penn St, Auburn, and ND.

Louisville and KY look pretty good at this point. Interested in seeing who else offers, and what future visits he may take.

He is now on the ND radar. Kelly (like Weis before) is going after him.

Zach West
OL
Lexington, KY

West is a mid-level recruit, in terms of hype. But scouts are slowly finding more about him and what he can do. His offers list isn't nearly as long as other recruits I mentioned in this week's updates, but there are a few schools big enough to draw some more attention as the summer arrives. So far, besides one from Penn State, West claims written offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisville, and Cincinnati.

When it comes to Penn State... Unless West gets a case of homesickness, it would seem that the Nittany Lions are in great position to pull him out of the Bluegrass State (even though it's really a commonwealth). Offensive linemen are the toughest players to accurately rate before getting into college. You have to think that if the coaches are willing to go to a relatively unknown recruiting ground for the Nittany Lions, West must have something they really want.

Zach West was recently added to the Espnu 150 Watch List. The Lexington native holds several offers, and is considered a UK lean. This years Offensive line class could be special. Look for West to be a wildcat.

Zach West (2011-OL) plans to visit Penn St, Cincy, Northwestern and Tennessee in the coming weeks. Not close to making a decision.

Caught up with Zach West today and he informed me he will visit Penn State this Thursday. He will also attend Auburn's camp in July and take visits to Cincinnati and Tennessee in the coming weeks.

Bearcats Could Make the Cut With West

Three-star offensive lineman Zach West from Lexington (KY) Christian Academy holds nine scholarship offers, including one from Cincinnati. But where do the Bearcats stand with West?

UK, Louisville, Penn State, Northwestern and Cincinnati are Zach West's top 5. Many other schools, like Auburn and Tennessee are trying to get in the door.

Love all the big uglies we're in on... the recent success on the offensive side of the ball and the exciting brand of football being played will more than likely ensure highly skilled athletes but we need the big uglies to play with the big boys...
