Maybe, but he needs to become a winner. That is most important.

We need smart players who are also athletic. Getting shooters would help. How many on ND's squad couldn't have been recruited by UC?
Answer? Every player is a 3 star, except Abromitis, who was a 2 star talent. Yet they sit back and drill 3's, make good heady plays, get back on defense, and hustle.
This isn't rocket science. One thing I do think Mick does is rotate too much. Get a core group of players and give them 30 min or so. It may not help, but perhaps it'll look like they've played together on a court before.

ND is not a team we want to emulate. They can get hot (especially at home) and pull off some impressive performances, but overall they just aren't a good team, mainly because they stink at defense.

Our inability to expose that last night was my biggest problem, along with poor rebounding. Ideally we wouldn't press ND, but I would have liked to push the tempo and attack the basket much more. Like Mick said, we tried to make this a game of horse and we simply didn't have a chance.
