Honestly, we aren’t going to win unless something changes. The players aren’t good enough to play through it and get better. If Keith stays out of foul trouble it would increase our chances but something has to fundamentally change. Hopefully we see some improvement from everyone. Coach, players, everyone

John even says it’s his fault. Though not from coaching philosophy or strategy.
He says he scheduled too hard. Yes, John, Brutal scheduling is why your team plays no defense and is calm as cookies n cream. Just play more cupcakes and keep doing what your doing. Keep running out rap & Vogt against a team who are designed to take advantage of slower bigger teams. |

I don't buy the Brannen excuse of scheduling. It wasn't that hard. The problem is he thought he wouldn't need Eason and Davenport so much. But now the cupcakes could have been useful...although Rap would still likely be starting as he would have looked good in those games. Some of our best players would be riding pine....Eason and Dav. Mikey would be about where he is and Madsen maybe could have made a few shots by now. Is this a blessing or curse? Expecting more I don't like it...but maybe it helps the long run |

UCF beat FSU with a starting line-up that went 6'4, 6'5, 6'5, 6'6, 6'8. The 6'8 player (CJ Walker) reminds me a lot of Tari Eason. He's bouncy and gets a lot of dunks. His offensive game isn't too developed beyond that.
Other than Walker who's a (former 5-star) sophomore transfer from Oregon, they started 1 true frosh, 2 true sophs, and 1 senior, Brandon Mahan, who looks to be their best player. They've shot well from 3 so far (36%), so we have to find a way to chase them off the line and force them to shoot 2s where they shoot an abysmal 43%. They also appear to be elite FT shooters (48/56, 86%), so if there's any game to start cutting out the stupid fouls, this would be a great time to start. Hopefully Davenport and Eason see a lot of minutes together. |

They are higher than Miles Davis riding a Hindu cow flying on a Thanksgiving chicken But that's okay...passion for the team is just fine |

Just like the Georgia game, we opened in Vegas as an underdog (+1) and are now a favorite (-2.5).
