@Tulsa
Tonight. 9pm. EspnU.
Tonight becomes a pivotal game in the John Brannen Era imo. Two bad teams. One fan base on edge. With the season essentially being a wrap. John needs this win more than anything. |

I think John just needs effort across the board tonight to show he can get through to the players right now with everything going on. Just don't want to see quitting out there. Win or lose

Quiet the noise and win.
Winning cures everything. Let’s finish strong and build some momentum |

Line is currently +2.
Gifted them a big early lead in the first game and by the team we recovered to tie the game with 1:30 left we ran out of gas to get the stops necessary to win the game. Rachal went for 25 and 13 last time so we'll have to defend him better. They don't shoot 3s well but they have athletic guards/wings that finish strong at the rim. |

This is the kinda team a 2-3 zone would be great on. It will protect the paint and make them jump shooters. And maybe protect us from foul trouble |

I don't think a single win is going to quiet a lot of noise unless we boat race them. Going to have to be a continued theme of more cohesiveness and better play. I will be interested to see if any players that would typically get minutes are limited because of attitude towards the overall plan. Or if coach gets them all on board and all in.

Tulsa also got killed at Houston. They were down 20 after 11 minutes and by 30 in the second half. But Tulsa won the home matchup against Houston. It's hard to read too much into individual games.
I'm with waterhead, I'll mainly be looking for competitive attitudes, effort, focus, and team basketball. |

The difference in our first matchup was definitely inside the three point line. Tulsa was 20-26 on 2pt shots, compared to 15-42 for us. They were 13-16 at the rim, which shows how bad our rim protection is. But we actually made 12 shots at the rim, just on way more attempts since we outrebounded them by 13 on the offensive glass. The real difference is they were 7-10 from midrange, which doesn't seem repeatable.

It's a game we should win... But. It's a game we get to see if these guys have completely quit on John. Will be telling imo. |
