SK at 21.5 pt's per game is clearly the man as expected...next best 13.5 TR.

JJ is clearly a block stud at 3.5/game...with next best TR at 1.

I am also happy about the following stats...

SK at .941 FT% (16 of 17) is outstanding with TC at .875 (7/8) also outstanding. We also have two guys at .800 with 4 of 5 shooting in GG and JS. Team at 74%. If we can keep this up...we will win some games.
Sure would help in some games....Over the course of a year, the difference between this year (.742) and last year (.647) amounts to 65 pts....about 2 pts./game, as UC played 34 games last year.

Part of what matters is the consistency of that percentage and, of course, if they hit them when the game is tight. Think last year - beat Alabama 58-56 ft=.714, lost to St. Johns 53-52 ft = .545, beat marquette 71-69 ft = .793

Exactly right. Basketball is a game of 40 minutes, but both teams get the same amount of chances with the ball. Both teams will have their runs and both will get their share of calls/bad calls. Unless one team is just hands down better than the other team, alot of games can come down to one or two plays where one team or the other did or did not execute. Free throws are big because there's no defense, no ref judging what happens. You either make the shot or you don't. Missed front ends of one-and-ones can be doubly negative. We can look at the NC State game as a great example. We won by 11. But it was tight throughout the game until the end where we executed and they didn't. And we hit our free throws.

Thanks for the breakdown. Maybe that stat isn't all that important compared to making one more shot per game. How about both? 4 points a game might help huh?
