How many lay ups has Kevin Johnson missed this young season?

Thirteen points 4 assist, and 4 boards and 3-3 from the ft line. Nice stat line.

Sloppy moments but I am loving the pick and roll/high screen stuff we're working out this year. Hope Guyn is okay. Rubles and Jackson are a good duo, just need to figure out how to keep Jackson on the floor. First time this season I've seen Lawrence hit a jump shot and Shaquille Thomas gives me hope for next year. Sanders didn't do terrible but he did have that one pass from Kilpatrick he let go for a TO.
Coupain did well also. I feel bad for Johnson, he's doing everything he can but that damn basket keeps caughing up the ball XD

You know, the good thing about this weak stretch is the youngins getting their work in. It may turn out to be a blessing come conference play.

Hard to take much from this game IMO.... Appalachain state was terrible.

KJ has got to start making some shots.... Its all there for him except finishing.

Hopefully G is okay. Been banged up lately.

All freshman have trouble finishing. Remember cashmere couldn't make a layup until his junior year

On open layups... still doesnt have the strength to finish in a crowd...

G is the strongest guard and can finish the best under contact.

Caupain has an upperclassman's body and strength. He came here ready to play D-1 basketball and it shows.

You may be right...but can G get himself into the same "less crowded" situations as TC? Does TC recoginize better when to attack the rim? I don't care how stong GG is if he can't get into those positions as often. Probably a wait and see type situation.

I would also say there were a couple of times today when TC recieved a pass down low and he calmly, but quickly, laid it into the center of the bucket rather than trying to rush and miss. Over the years we have seen a lot of our guards try to put up a layup too fast and miss because they hurried. TC got the ball out quick, in control, and in the hole when he had the chance.
