i predict in the future if our best player is hurt in november and december, but back to his old self in february, we'll be playing better ball later in the season.

its wild.

I think moving him to point was almost as important as getting him healthy but it sounds like Brannen would not to commit to one without the other so health comes back to be the factor.

Either way it's HUGE to have him dictating the game. He allows every one else to play within themselves and be more efficient.

This game was extremely important but I can't help but worry about Uconn. They have managed to play down to the wire with just about everyone. At that point it's just about a couple of baskets here or there.

I also worry about how we are going to change our game plan against Memphis. We played right to their strengths the last time. We have to be ready to pass the ball when they come hunting blocks in the paint. We have to use the back side of the rim to keep them from blocking shots as well.

You would think after beating Houston and WSU I would have a little less anxiety but conference play is just tough no matter who the opponent is. One game at a time I guess.

Cumberland was huge again. Gotta be able to get a workout at combine.

3pt% from last season is encouraging.

UConn is worrisome because they haven’t beat us in 3 years and they are actually playing better. This will be their Super Bowl and its hard to beat teams that many times in a row. As for Memphis, I don’t worry about them at all. It was a tie game Witt 4 minutes left. If they call the game tighter at all we probably win. At home they shouldn’t be an issue. All the remaining home games shouldn’t be a problem. @houston is our hardest game remaining, followed closely by this UConn game. I may even put the UConn game ahead of it because of how bad they will want to beat us.
