So anyway you look at it, whether it was a punch thrown, he said the season was over, and he skipped the banquet. I hope we get rid of this fool. We don't need that kind of player in a Bearcat uniform. Lets go get Ratliff, Burton, and anyone else we can find that will play hard and smart.

I don't see Bishop coming back, at all. UC has three players coming in, and with Biggie possibly leaving, LS, and Biship 'gone'....we're going to see an interesting offseason for Mick. This is his greatest chance at keeping his job, and moving the team forward.

Buy-in or get out. Bishop never bought in, IMO. For the record, I'm not big on Davis either. I am a huge fan of Ibra and Wilks. I can live with mistakes....God knows I've made a ton in my life. I can't live with a piss poor attitude, effort and mentality. Progam > Individual |

Lance leaving does move out a lightening rod. Obviously, Davis had problems with him at least once. Interesting to see if Davis can improve, get a better attitude, or if he in fact departs (voluntarily or not). If Davis can't shoot the three, his time of play is going to equal that of what Biggie saw. Parker (even Dixon) and Killah are going to chew up his minutes.
In any event, the team should have less drama next year...but I wonder who will lead the team, as Lance was the obvious (possibly only) suspect next year. Look for Thomas to possibly step up, as Cash could...but he needs to lead by example first, and then vocally. Going to be interesting. |

I am 100 % that I want Bishop back. WE DONT HAVE A SMALL FORWARD. He has scored 20 points in a Big East game before. He is our best defender.
He didn't rape nobody, he didnt kill nobody... (sorry but this is my ManRam comment that I had to get in) But seriously he didn't do anything that was so off the wall. He is a very good rebounder too. BRING HIM BACK. |

Let's play Wilks at the 3 and go small if that doesn't work. |

I'd go w/ Wilks at the three as well. He's done nothing but improve, IMO.
Bishop essentially quit on the team, and if MC doesn't want him around, neither do I. This team (and we talked about this before) needs to gel, and guys like that apparently aren't helping. Butler made it to the NC because they can shoot, hustle, and act like an unselfish team. We exhibited few of those traits last year, and less often than I would have hoped. |

I was hoping (praying??) that Bishop would lead this team next year, as LS was at one point expected to be gone. I feel bad for him, but throwing away the opportunity that he had, giving up on the team? Who among us would have done that? Seriously lacking in leadership skills.
