ESPN Grade: 94
Evaluation from Class of 2008: This young man is a scoring machine in the paint. He is a big time athlete who runs the floor with terrific speed, jumps a second time quickly or jumps over you to score. What makes him special is that he has great physical attributes... |

So this is where everyone is going to get away from Bearcatnews... hehehe
What continues to be a positive is that every 'Cat that graduates since the rebuilding is being replaced by a better player... this isn't a firm rule but it's a general idea of upgrading the talent and ability of the roster overall... going from what we had in 2006, to what we had in 2008 to what we should have next year in 2010... Ratliffe fits that bill as far as I see... I haven't seen tape on him yet but what I've read says he'd be 100X more effective as an offensive threat than Toyloy was, if he plays some defense and will bang for boards I'm all for it... Ratliffe in, Toyloy out= Upgrade. |

Ratliffe set the scoring record at CFCC. The kid was a scorer in high school. He is a nice athlete that knows how to score. He is ripped, quick, fast, not fat, not out of shape and motivated. Better yet, he has made it very clear that he badly WANTS to play in the NBA. This kid starts next year if he wears Black and Red. Get it done Mick! |

What are the odds we can get this kid out of the south? Could he play the 3?
I would like Cash, Lance, Ricardo, Yancy (maybe), Thomas. That would leave us a strong bench too. |

From what I have seen of him, he looks like a true Power Forward.

From the way people are talking... he could end up taking significant minutes away from Yancy... Cash, Parker, Lance, Ratliffe, Thomas... that would be my starting 5.
