Added Creighton's Greg McDermott: "I would [hire a prospect's father or coach] if they were qualified for the position."

Other coaches disagree with such arrangements.

"I don't think I would," Wichita State's Gregg Marshall said. "It's ethically wrong. [It's] indirectly paying for the player." Every case is different the McDermott father and son worked out perfect. Did not look like Creighton bought him, just worked out well for them.

Houston landed 2 commits from umass even though Houston has a full roster.

Those 2 kids ended up at juco. So uc can still be in the running just would need the to spend next year at a juco school or even d2 school
