If you miss free throws and the other team makes every 3, this kind of thing happens. Only thing brannen should have done was put Williams on the guy that had their last 10 points.

The free throws are an issue. Not sure what you can do about it though. Can practice them all day and it won’t make a difference.

We may have to start shooting better to be a good team...

Effort was great in the 2nd half. Great defense and We might have a solid point guard for the next 4 years

Offensively we were bad for most of the game. Defensively we were excellent for the first 16 minutes of the second half and for OT.

Keith had a great game and is starting to really show up as a force on defense and most importantly on the boards. We need another guy to give us rebounds and it looks like Keith is becoming that guy. His 8 rebounds were second only to Scott's 9 and each of those two had 3 offensive rebounds.

Maw also provided 5 rebounds and has put up good rebounds for a guard. Maw has outperformed McNeal by virtually every measure.

Vogt showed up offensively in the second half, largely by virtue of him getting very deep on his post ups - or unguarded dunks. Seemed like there was more of an effort to set screens for him instead of just having him take his man 1v1. He had only 5 rebounds and 1 offensive rebound, his rebounding numbers have been unimpressive for a guy his size.

Jarron didn't play particularly well, but he still put up 20 points. Once he really gets it going he will be a force.

We only had 12 TO's this game. Not great, but not nearly as bad as we have been.

We need to start playing better very quickly though. If we play the next 6 games like we did tonight, we may only win one of them.

That’s why his teams are horrible historically.

I knew there had to be an under lying reason

Haven’t our teams always been awful free throw shooters? At least it feels like it. Except for the sweet 16 team. Maybe I’m wrong

Yes, as long as I can remember. Huggins, Cronin and now Brannen have never had good free throw shooting teams. Particularly at the end of games, when it should really matter the most.
