NCAA - FBI probe

Ncaa gets permission to get info from Feds. Xavier mentioned in article with Edmind Sumner and Cincinnati mentioned with Jacob Evans in payment plans.

Bluiett comitted to UCLA before coming to us. He was the guy I was always worried about. I am not surprised to see his name come up.

I have regular conversations with people from Jersey AAU. They say every player is getting something. Whether it’s cash, parents get free travel and lodging to away games, whatever every player is getting something. It is most likely not coming from coaches or boosters, it is coming from agents and shoe companies.

My point, expect Gary Clark and Cumberland on there also at some point the more they dig. I bet X guys as well.

I'll copy and paste my reply from other thread

Not good. To be fair, I read it as some of the players were players he was targeting and it wasnt a list of players he actually had in the fold. Hopefully for our sake Evan's didnt sign with him. I will say also, these aren't players being played to go to a school but players picked to sign early endorsements before going pro, which if they did makes them ineligible and teams could have to vacate wins, but it's not something the university played any part in.

It sounds like a lot of it was him going to be paying players while they were In college so they would then sign with him and his company when they go pro. Not necessarily the schools having him pay the player to go to their school. Not sure it that changes things are far as punishment though.
