To hell with pushing the ball up court...it hasn't been working anyway. Just run the motion offense with Jarron at PG and or run some ISO when game is on the line. Walk the ball up when you need to.

There is a Burger U joint across from the arena at UCF. Happy to say it was mostly filled with UC fans...probably 75% pre game attendance (at the bar) was UC. I had my kids 7 yrs and 16 months fully donned in UC gear. My baby girl has a UC cheerleader outfit.
One alumnus gave them both a UC pom pom and I am proud to say my wife (FSU bachelors and UCF masters ) and 7 year old step son were the loudest screamers in the arena! My baby girl made 3 quarters of her first game with somewhat sustained interest of the movement on the court and jumbotron before succumbing to crankiness in the last 10 minutes. This was the first UC game for both kids and my wife. I was interested in the action on the court and although my wife was watching/rooting much of the game her critique was mostly about the choreography of the dance team because she was a "Golden Girl" at FSU dance team. I had to admit UCF dance team was very bad (in some respects...lol). Overall we had a blast behind the basket even with a partially blocked view. We were seated behind a family with all red (two adults and 3 or 4 kids) except one kid wearing all UCF gear and actively rooting against the rest of his family...lol! |

I didn't really try to make an estimate. It was low turnout from both teams but as a % I would say we traveled much better than UCF would or will to Cincy. I live in Melbourne now. I know we had a strong turnout at the bar!! LOL

Push it if it’s there. Keep the defense honest. If not pull it out. Could get an easy 8-10 points by beating the team down the court. Dont become the cronin teams where teams were giving us layups and we didn’t take them. Iowa game last year for example

I agree push it when you can but if the defense is back just let Jarron do his thing. The ball moves much better when he is in charge. He skips a lot more passes than anyone else. Working it from one side to the other is pretty easy to defend. Skipping a defensive rotation has been key to some easy buckets.

I’ve been to both and I have lived in both Tampa and Orlando in the past. I haven’t even seen the renovation on our own arena yet. I hope it’s better than both of them...lol
