Has visited UC, but likes ND, OSU, Duke. Stanford, Miami, and Michigan has been in touch.

Same school as OSU commit Michael Bennett.
He now has verbal offers from Cincy, Stanford, and Toledo. ND and OSU will loom large. |

Rivals $ - Odenigbo hears from Irish
Steve Hare of IrishIllustrated.com, January 12, 2011 OFFERS: Stan, Cincy, & Toledo... Chuck Martin (ND staffer) told him he's the best junior he's seen at any position & invited him to their junior day on 2/26... He has high interest in ND, Stan ("world class education"), & Cincy (has a brother enrolled there)... |

Smith, how would you rank Ifeadi both in Ohio and on a national scale?
I watched film on him the other day and was quite impressed. Him and Michael Bennett (yes, almost every time he sacked the QB, Bennett was always there too) were a devastating combo together and if his measurables are accurate (apparently 6'6 and 210 lbs now) and the track info is correct, this guy should easily be a top 100 prospect nationally. Don't forget there's another BCS level DL on that Centerville squad - Kyle Rose, WVU commit. It will be interesting to see how well he performs next year when he's the player teams will be scheming against instead of Bennett and Rose. I'll be surprised if Odenigbo registers w/ any service on a "national scale". With so little experience, no one is going to stick their neck out to rate him as a top 100 or even 250 type of player. If that happens, it will be after the '11 season and he'll have earned it on the field. Some do but I don't see him at LB in college - doesn't have the instincts or the hip turn needed for coverage. He's a one trick pony at this point, though that one trick is speed unlike any others in this Ohio class. His best chance for success will be as a hand in the dirt DE but he he'll need to bulk up to play there. Will he be able to keep his speed in doing so? That will be the big question. I would rate him as high 3 star at this point. Having said that, he may have the highest ceiling of any DL in this Ohio class not named Adolphus... http://www.theringer.com/forums/ohio...s-watch-8.html |

Talking about IO:
Raw, lanky, super fast, & intriguing. I'd say you nailed it. It's a bit early to be offering him IMO (obviously Stanford and Cincinnati disagree) but he's a recruit I'm very interested to track the development of next year... http://www.theringer.com/forums/ohio...s-watch-8.html |

He would be very receptive to a Notre Dame offer. There was actually some confusion over the letter from Martin that said they'd "love for (him) to come to Notre Dame". Odenigbo thought that meant they were offering and was disappointed to find out it was merely an invitation to visit...
