Perhaps Washington made his decision, told some people close to him and they leaked it. He very well could have been waiting to make an official announcement to UC later in the day. Just a hunch, but I think players decide on where they want to go before calling the coaching staff.

What's the purpose of tweeting this other than making Washington look dumb? I'm sure Washington was going to inform the staff. Perhaps the info was leaked earlier than he wanted.

This is a friendly reminder there are new forum rules to be aware of. I am not pointing at anyone in particular but there have been several posts reported in this thread. If your comments have no useful information and only serve to mock someone else...it may or may not get reported...but if it does it will get a warning. Additional warnings will lead to bans. I encourage everyone to stop taking shots at other members...it doesn't matter how old the grudges are. Stop derailing threads with your old baggage please. Most of us simply don't care about your squabbles with other members.

I can now confirm that NC State transfer Kyle Washington has committed to Cincinnati. Will sit one and have 2 years remaining. #Bearcats

Our frontcourt is now set with Quadri, Washington, Brooks, Clark and Scott. The staff can now concentrate on wings and a pg. What a great couple of days for recruiting.
