Really enjoyed listening to Ado and Ody in the postgame - especially Ado.
I remember hearing an interview where Miller emphasized how important it was to bring high character guys into this program and both Ado and Ody seem to exemplify that very well. Sounds like Vik will be fine for Illinois and that McGinnis will be out a few more weeks. |

Just remember months ago who called Vik our best player and NBA prospect. Best prospect we've had since Yancy!

Good performance.. really need mason to get going. Think the constant subbing only hurts his rythm.
Vic being healthy could potentially lead to a very very good career. He just looks different. Passes well. Finishes well. Can shoot a bit. Adu played his best game as a bearcat by far. I really like what Koval brings to this team. Shooting really concerns me. Ddj just feels inconsistent and Newman frankly takes way to many shots.... Man..Tari at the 3.. MAW continues to be underappreciated Saunders is a great spark off the bench. But now we get to see what we truly have. I'm not expected to beat Illinois, but it's surely a decent gauge. |

Everyone has shown flashes so far and I do expect some inconsistency but having a deep bench means a lot more players can get hot or have a good game when a starter or two are having an off night.
The bigs are going to be pretty solid. Just need two of the guards to step up each night and put some points up. I will include JD in this group. |

When McGinnis gets healthy I look for him bring needed shooting.

He's got a helluva shooting stroke but the injury wasn't keeping him on the bench for the first few games. I still have high hopes for AJ but this injury will likely kind of seal his fate for this year. If I am wrong...it's gonna be a nice surprise!

You told me same thing about Big Vik! AJ playing when healthy. He didn't get hurt in garbage time.
