You mean, he kept us in the game. No one else showed up.

Considering the stakes, the injuries, and our lack of composure down the stretch, that was as frustrating and demoralizing of a loss as we could've asked for.

We really missed Vik's rim defense and rebounding in the 2nd half.

Our prospects for the rest of the season just took a huge blow to the head.

Ody and the freshmen were especially foul prone, they combined for 9 fouls in 45 minutes.
We did not keep Tulane away from the rim or the free throw line. They got to the rim a ridiculous 33 times tonight, and made 25 of 29 free throws. Ron Hunter made adjustments at halftime to take advantage of Lakhin being out, and Tulane never stopped attacking the basket. They put up 73 points in the final 25 minutes of the game.

On offense we took an astounding 48 threes, which really isn't bad offense for us. We made 35% from beyond the arc, resulting in more than a point per possession on those shots. But it's not enough to overcome giving up 1.17 points per possession.

We really missed Vik. And how many times did we get blown up by back door cuts?? 10+ times? MAW was god awful all game. 3 out of his 4 fouls were for "and 1's", he at least contributed a small bit at the end with some big 3's. This teams defense is porous. JD again with 24 minutes, 2-7 from the floor, can only manage ONE rebound in 24 minutes, and got blown up on defense all game. But watch out, Nolley is throwing games with a 26-8-4 stat line. Sounds like people here are butt hurt because Vegas is taking your money.

We didn't miss or even need Vik. That's just excuse players, coaches, and fans alike can make themselves feel better. We still had massive size advantage. You don't have use Ody in post just because he's your tallest player. That's dumb coaching. Not once did coach put Nolley on the block. Post action and Nolley smart enough to make plays. You simply can't win big games with Maw, DDJ, and JD on floor at same times.

If you don't think losing your best big man that plays almost 30 minutes a game in conference play and averages 12-7, and then have to rely on Kalu and Ody the rest of the way, you're literally delusional and I can't take you serious anymore. Well actually you lost all credibility when you bashed this coaching staff for not landing/recruiting Paul McMillan, the supposedly savior for Cincinnati and best recruit we would ever land as he headed to New Jersey Institute of Technology, read that again, and averages 5 points, a rebound and an assist in 17 minutes.

obviously they missed Vik, but they still should have won the game. Miller has been extremely underwhelming so far which is to be expected considering he didn't really do much at UNCG. If his recruiting is not lights out we are in big trouble.
