Transfer from CMU John Williams DT

Tim Adams ‏@TimAdams918
UC has added John Williams (DT) from C. Mich. The graduate transfer will be eligible immediately. Former capt. at CMU with 94 career stops.
Graduate transfer, he's immediately eligible and will play this season.

CBJ taking note of the fact that we're light on bodies/experience at the DT spot... I love this move... know absolutely nothing about the transfer but he will only help fill the giant void left by Hughes and Wolfe.

It's little moves like this one that can really sustain a program, especially in football where there are so many pieces to replace from year to year. Finding a guy like this... or to take it back to the Kelly era, finding a Ben Mauk that can be an instant upgrade in an area.

Per an email I got today he's not the only CMU Grad transfer we got for this year. There's two of them.
Consider joining UCATS at the $50 level if you are not already a member. @LobotC2DFW

Bearcat22 is on a distinguished road
Williams looked good against Pitt, he could be a very solid player this year and provide much needed depth
