I want two taller wings that play 1-3 and two bigs that can defend PnR, rebound and rim protector(I’ll take couple projects)

Here's another interesting site to evaluate transfers: evanmiya.com
Click "Available Transfers" on the top ribbon. His metric is BPR, or Bayesian Performance Rating. It incorporates individual stats similar to PER, team performance, and corrects for zero leverage possessions (sort of like WPA in baseball). Different ratings are given for offense and defense. From UNCG, Kaleb Hunter is #25 and Angelo Allegri is #55. CJ Fredrick is #3 (including the best offensive rating by far). |

We're talking to Antonio Daye Jr from FIU. He's a 6'1" junior pg. This makes me wonder if DeJulius is still weighing his options. Daye seems to be a defense first player, with an elite 3.8 steal rate and only a 2.6 foul rate. He's a poor defender according to BPR though. Poor 3pt shooter and turns the ball over a lot.

He's desirable enough that Kansas and Arkansas are after him. He played on a very high tempo team, which is becoming a pattern for Wes targets. In addition to his high steal rate, his other strength is getting to the rim, which he did almost 8 times a game (for reference, our rim attempts leader was Keith at just over 5 per game). He also went to the line more than 5 times per game (matching Keith). Daye would be a nice addition for an uptempo pressing team, especially if he can improve his shooting and limit turnovers.

I would defer to you. My contention was concern about the poor defense, high TO rate & poor 3 pt %. Steals & getting to the rim/finishing would be great. Last edited by sedziobs; 04-21-2021 at 12:06 AM. Reason: formatting |

We're one of a bunch of top tier programs who have reached out to 6'1" junior DeVante Jones of Coastal Carolina. He's one of the top guards available by most metrics. Very good scorer and rebounder with an elite steal rate. I'd be shocked if we landed him given his options (Baylor, Kansas, and Michigan among others).

Langston averaged 10 pts, 7.6 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and only 1 turnover per game. He had a 56 true shooting percentage. Attempted about 1 three per game at 31%. His game and stat line are very similar to Tari, with slightly better shooting and ball control, and slightly less blocks and assists. I think he would start at the 4 for us, allowing JD to split time at the 3/4.
