Jacob Evans is our best player. Him leading us in scoring will be entirely up to him.
If Evans drops as efficient 15 PPG and continues his great defense plus adds some dribble drive to his scoring, then he is going to the NBA. Today I feel he is the prototypical 3 and D NBA player. 6'6, 44" inch vertical, amazing on and off ball defender, good rebounder and has good court vision. If he starts driving the ball, he then completes the package. Jacob is already on 2 mock drafts already and if he gets a little more killer in him, and he will be repping the bearcats on an NBA team |

Unheralded 4 Star kid with a chance at nba as a jr is a big deal. Mick and coach rehfedt need a ton of credit on this regardless |

I just don't too many skilled bigs in the AAC who can hang with him night in and night out. Brimah was probably a big factor as to the poor performance against the Huskies and he's now moved on. |

If Broome can beat his man at the top it will open up easy shots and follows for Washington and Clark. It seemed like last year they never got easy buckets or stick-backs. I voted for Washington.

Last year we had basically 1 aggressive player in the lineup (Washington). Clark and Evans were efficient but I wouldn't call them aggressive...they let the points come to them. Cumberland was more aggressive toward the end of the year as he learned he was an important piece but most of the season was not super aggressive. Troy probably scored a lot of his points with the clock winding down but tried to get the rest involved most of the time. KJ was mostly a shoot when open guy. This year I am hoping we see more aggressiveness out of Clark and Evans. Washington is already there. Broome will be more aggressive than Troy earlier in the clock. Cumberland should be a lot more aggressive this year than either himself or KJ were last year. If we can just get Evans and Clark to change their mentality a bit...we could be in for a very VERY good year! Last edited by waterhead; 07-20-2017 at 08:46 AM. |
