Whether our kids our going to be great or not there isn't a single guy with bad character on our team and personally, i love that. I love havin players that I can be proud of on and off the court. That being said we still gotta win, got a good chance to save face against Florida Saturday. Wouldn't call it a must win, but I think seeding wise it's as important as it gets.
If we want to have a special season like we all hoped to have, it might be a must win.

Dude, when you're as good as Kmart you can flex, you can moon your friends, hell you can even moon the crowd. When you're J.P.freaking Macura you stand there and just be happy.

This board sounds like a bunch of wimpy kids after the bully stole our lunch money. I hate X as much as anyone but who cares if they talk trash and have swagger. We embraced that role in the 90's.

Did anyone hear the LeBatard Show today- Mick getting made fun of on national radio, not a good look.

With the game being played on championship Saturday for CFB, the coaching carousel, playoff selection, then NFL games and news I am sure this was a top 5 story today right behind LiAngelo being removed from UCLA. Outside of greater area, not even on radar

Did anyone see the actual video of the postgame and Cronin being "escorted" to the locker room? Did this ESPN Bastard guy show it? It is blown so far out of proportion. A X coach grabbed his arm, turned him around and there was a police officer that walked next to him as he went to the locker room.

There is a difference between swagger and disrespect. Kenyon never took over a press conference and said he was a gangster and zipping people up, Pete Mikeal never cussed out another coach, Mel Levett never headbutted anyone. Van Exel never told X's coach to suck his johnson and started a brawl (Per chad B) The extracurriculars are what could potentially stop this series. Now granted no X coach has ever wanted to fight a player, if you watch the video it is not that bad. The banner about his mom, the stuff getting thrown at him during the game and the players berating him got in his head.

Play one more at home then move to the ohio crossroads where UC can play OSU and Dayton and X on a neutral site

Yah...swagger is all about confidence. We need to get some of that back at UC. They need to walk into any gym and fell like they are the best team. If you believe you are the best team you usually play like it. If you have doubt...you probably won't.

The good thing is I think Broome has some of that confidence we need and it was showing in this game. Confidence can feed into the rest of the team. A big win will go a long way for us in this department as well.

It would also be nice for our coach to build our confidence too. A coach can say "you are better than that...the next time I put you in I want you to show me what I already know you can do". Or he could say "What the hell are you doing...get outta my face right now because I don't even want to look at you after that play". But I don't think Cronin's style will change so the players are going to have to build themselves up or maybe some of the other coaches.

Things like confidence, belief, and chemistry cannot be underestimated. It can make an average team good and a great team average.

Sorry not buying that. Kenyon, Fortson, Ruben Patterson, Lance, Van Exel -
these were not guys that would be considered "clean" players. They played on the line, sometimes went over it and we love them for it.

Now we keep getting punked by little brother because they have the swag we used to have and we cry about it.

I'll say it again I hate X more than anything but they're doing the same thing- playing to the line and yes they cross it but those guys listed above wouldn't allow them to cross it year after year.
