Well to be frank, Ellis doesn't really have any low post moves on offense. Stainbrook is also a very bad matchup for our defense because he's too fat/strong for Ellis and too tall for Clark.


Teams will decent size and or skill have given us trouble inside. Ellis has scored a total of 13 points and had 13 rebounds in the 3 games vs Uconn/Memphis. I think it could be a cause for concern.

You can really tell who on that board has and hasn't actually watched us play. One guy was talking about Parker, Wright and Mbodj being gone now. One guy was talking about how Clark runs corner to corner and around the perimeter on defense. Too much.

I won't even go on their blog bc it would drive me crazy with their idiotic statements. I've never really met a Xavier fan I could tolerate.

Silly story, before the San Diego St. game my wife and I were having some beers at Mios at the bar. There was a guy next to me, by himself, looked lonely so I started to chat with him. Make a long story short, he was recently divorced, lost his "great" job selling mortgages to people who had no business buying homes, and was going through custody of his children. (He was a talker) He then goes on to say he is a Xavier fan and doesn't think UC is good, Cronin can't coach blah blah blah, I asked him, do you know where you are?! Do you see my throw back Leonard Stokes jersey on?! And you want to sit there and run your mouth about my university and our bball team. I thought it was hilarious how stupid he looked. I told him he needs to stop talking non sense to me bc I wasn't going to entertain it. He felt bad and ending up buying my wife and I a shot when we left. He basically just sums up the large majority of their fan base. I don't like using the word ignorant on the internet bc I feel that word just gets used way to much but honestly that is exactly who and what X fans are. They also are a bunch of squares, fun sponges. Probably bc they have Dana Gardens as their one bar to socialize at.

I'm watching the X/Seton Hall game. Vintage punk play by Xavier. There have already been 2 double T's which were instigated by X. I can not stand the bs they play. Dirty as$ team. Starts with their head coach. Teas were already in the bonus 10 min in.

I agree... I have been a bit concerned with how cheap they play this year. I really hope they don't instigate another brawl.
