Are you saying he isnt soft? I also said I'd want him. Just because I think someone plays soft, doesn't mean they can't be good. Kyle is pretty good.

I think saying he is soft and wants to be a 3 is a mischaracterization. He's not Eric Hicks, but he will rebound and finish down low, and he will guard big guys.

In my eyes, he's plays soft. I also said he plays more like a 3. Could be a face up 4 (whatever). I don't think he likes the post very much. Which is fine, just have to play a different style. A style that a lot of teams play. I agree not everyone can be hicks or Kenyon, but a couple of you guys were talking like he would come in and turn into that. My point was He probably will not

Absolutely agree not a chance he plays any 3. But he is a lot like Clark where he can get extend the offense with the 3 ball. And he can rebound the ball.
I think a misconception with big men is if they rely on the outside shot that means they are soft, but on the defensive side of the ball he rebounds like a true big man. There is not a better big man we could possibly get as a transfer, I can not stress enough how huge this would be for our 2019 season. |
