Jaevin Cumberland

Jarrons cousin played on Oakland in the horizon avg 17.2 ppg made the 22nd most 3s in the country last year, has visited Michigan which he would most likely get immediate playing time for, with Cumberland coming back it seems some believe he is likely to come here.

He's option 1A at this point and I don't think there is anyone else close. I have tried to look back and see what impact players remain out there that we are still tied to. Bolton, Moss, Quinnerly...not that I can tell. At one point Jordan Woods (big)...but no smoke there lately.

It seems like we are looking for role playing and bench depth players right now and of course maybe a HS kid who can play down the road. Sorolla, Evelyn, Woods etc. Nothing Earth shattering.

Jaevin would be Earth shattering IMO. He can dribble, shoot and score and we need ALL of that on our team this year. I would do back flips if we get this kid!!

Yes been wanting to post about him for weeks heard he was waiting to see what Jarron was doing and if he returned he was coming here. Would be huge IMO especially if he can run the point.

I would assume so he's 23 and Jarron is 21.

Yes they were one grade apart and as you can imagine they were the leading scorers on the team... by a large margin.

Does Michigan hiring Juwan Howard have any impact on Jaevin’s decision? I wonder if he would look at them more favorably now that they had a coaching change. Of course, I have not read much about his recruitment as a grad transfer.
